Oh young ladies

In ayurveda aloe vera is called kumari. Kumari also could mean, young woman, or virgin!

The fleshy leaves of aloe vera produces a sticky sap, when broken, and this when dried is called chenninayakam in some Indian languages. Chenninayakam , among other things, is a bitter , very bitter, thing, used by mothers of big children, say, 3 years, and cannot be weaned. Apply chenninayakam on the nipple, and the ever demanding kid stops asked to be nursed.

For the same operation, fish bile is yet another alterntive.
